About Us
Welcome to The Islamic Index — a community-driven initiative built to make trustworthy Islamic resources on the internet easier to find, explore, and benefit from.
The internet is vast, scattered, and often overwhelming. Valuable content is frequently buried under noise, duplication, or unreliable sources. Our goal is simple: to collect, organize, and present useful Islamic resources in one clear, accessible place for everyone.
What We Are Building
The Islamic Index is a continuously growing directory of online resources, carefully:
- Collected from across the internet
- Categorized by topic and purpose
- Reviewed with clarity and context
- Organized for easy discovery and use
We aim to help students, researchers, educators, and everyday learners quickly find authentic and beneficial material without unnecessary confusion.
Our Methodology
To maintain quality and usefulness, we follow a transparent methodology:
1. Collection
Resources are gathered through:
- Community submissions
- Volunteer research
- Ongoing discovery of relevant websites and tools
Anyone can suggest new links, edits, or improvements.
2. Review
Each submission is reviewed by volunteers to assess:
- Relevance to the topic
- Clarity and usefulness
- Consistency with authentic Islamic sources
- Overall benefit to the community
3. Organization
Approved resources are:
- Categorized by subject
- Tagged for easier navigation
- Accompanied by brief notes where helpful
4. Ranking
Links are ranked based on:
- Usefulness and clarity
- Reliability of content
- Community feedback
- Continued availability and maintenance
Dead links, outdated resources, or reported issues are reviewed and addressed regularly.
A Community-Powered Project
The Islamic Index is not a commercial project.
- We are not built for profit
- We do not monetize content
- We are run entirely by volunteers
The project remains alive and relevant only through community participation:
- Submitting new resources
- Suggesting edits or improvements
- Reporting broken or outdated links
- Providing constructive feedback
This is a shared effort, and everyone is welcome to contribute.
Independence & Transparency
We are completely independent.
- No affiliation with political parties or factions
- No connection to governments or institutions
- No external ideological agenda
Our only commitment is to clarity, authenticity, and public benefit.
Our Path
Our pathway is Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah.
Everything that aligns with:
- The Qur’an
- The authentic Sunnah
- The understanding of the Prophet ﷺ and the early generations
…is what we strive to reflect and support.
Looking Ahead
As the internet evolves, so will The Islamic Index.
Our focus remains on:
- Expanding useful categories
- Improving discovery and navigation
- Strengthening review processes
- Keeping the platform clean, relevant, and accessible
With the help of the community, we hope this project continues to serve as a beneficial reference for years to come.
